Growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, I started dancing at the age of four. Several years later, at the age of ten, I transitioned to gymnastics, and then to competitive rhythmic gymnastics at age 14. I retired from rhythmic gymnastics at age 19 having reached level nine.

After a break from dance and gymnastics while attending college in Pensacola, FL, in 2009, I started dancing again. I studied under Salvatore and Barbara Messina at King David Christian Conservatory in Charlotte, NC. While under the mentorship of the Messinas, I studied dance disciplines such as ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern and contemporary, and hip hop, and I learned how to run a studio.

I have taken master classes from New York City Ballet and Joffrey Ballet company members, Broadway instruction by a Rockettes company member, and modern instruction by Alvin Ailey company members. After several years of taking classes, I began to teach at my home studio, as well as at another local studio. I taught Ballet, Tap, and Leaps and Turns.

My dream is to open creative arts centers for underprivileged children.
