Ken Hamilton

Ken Hamilton has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a Master's degree in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has taught undergraduate physics at RPI, software engineering professionally, and homeschool courses in various subjects for the past ten years. Ken worked designing power plants in the northeastern United States, and researched fiber optic materials for commercial applications.

Ken loves all our modern technical gadgets, and the science that makes them possible, particularly the ones that use lasers. A love of puzzles both mental and physical inspires Ken’s interest in working with homeschool students, including his own children, who have been homeschooled for over a decade. This same passion led him to spend many years learning naturalist skills and sharing them with his local homeschool students.

Ken is excited to share his enthusiasm for finding things out with other people who want to know more about how our universe does all the amazing things it does.
