Sarina Furer, M.Ed., is an alumna of Lesley University's Creative Arts in Learning program and has taught poetry and creative writing in the graduate school of the former Lesley University Israel Extension program. She continues to teach writing to diverse populations in Israel and abroad, including: youth at risk, soldiers, child victims of terrorism, older adults, new immigrants, parents of special needs children, and educators.
Sarina lives outside of Jerusalem with her husband, four children (ages 12-20) and Ella, their beloved dog! Her hobbies include hiking in the mountains of Utah (Sarina's home away from Israel), writing, dancing, and laughing! She made a new home in Israel more than twenty-two years ago.
