Eva Goldstein-Meola has more than twenty-five years of dedicated teaching experience both with homeschoolers and with public school students. Ten of these years were in a traditional public school classroom. Fifteen of these years were with homeschoolers, teaching IEW and Literature. Ten of the fifteen years has been teaching online.
Eva is married to her childhood sweetheart, Jonathan. She has a twenty-one-year-old daughter, Shayna, who was homeschooled, who is currently attending University of Miami studying Aerospace Engineering.
Eva grew up on Miami Beach (and yes, it was fabulous), attended college and lived in Western Massachusetts until 2004, moved to Northern Virginia and remained there until 2015, and currently lives in Israel.
Eva and Jonathan love traveling and exploring various cities and cultures! Since arriving in Israel, they try to spend as much time in Europe as possible. They have been to Marseille (France), Nice (France), Barcelona (Spain), Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Rome (Italy), Florence (Italy), Cinque Terre (Italy), Hamburg (Germany), Crete (Greece) not to mention all over Israel. They love taking cruises, visiting museums, going to the beach, dining at bistros, attending craft fairs and walking the city taking in all the sights.
When not teaching or grading papers, you can find Eva at the beach, exploring the beauty of the world by taking “no destination drives”, going to the theater, attending concerts, creating paintings/mosaics, baking, reading and playing board games, her favorite being Settlers of Cattan.
Eva can’t wait to share her love of writing and literature with your children!
What Parents are Saying about Eva Goldstein-Meola’s Classes!
I just wanted you to know that Laura and I were discussing classes for next year (2014 – 2015). I was thinking that she would “take a break” from your class for one year and then return for the high school classes. Laura insisted, “Absolutely not. I learn so much from Eva. Not only about writing; but about how to be a better person. Eva expects excellence out of us in all areas of life.” Laura truly enjoys all that you bring to the class, your energy, humor, and all that you teach. She has learned so very much from you and I know you have her highest respect along with mine. Personally, I am a terrible writer. Laura loves to write; however, that was not always the case. Without your instruction, I cannot even imagine the quality of her work. I thank you so much for everything. I am so glad I met you years ago in NJ at ENOCH. You have changed my daughter’s life for the better!

Six of my daughters have taken and really enjoyed Eva’s virtual class! They all appreciated the online class because of its versatility. They are able to ask questions and participate just as if she were in the actual classroom. If they were unable to attend the live class, they always could always watch the recording later at her convenience. In addition, Eva did not lose contact with them when they graduated and went to college. If my daughters needed her, they emailed her and she was right there for them. She always calls all students “her kids”; and she treats them all like they are her own. All two hundred of them! This is a gift that not many parents find in an instructor. I highly recommend taking advantage of Eva’s virtual classes.
