Being an adult isn’t easy, but it can be a little easier with some preparation. In this course, we will be covering the topics most often cited by older adults as things they wish they had known, or things they think every young adult needs to know to be able to function effectively in the world.
Participation is an absolute to make the most of this class. Participation happens in two ways: (1) through students speaking out loud OR (2) through typing in the chat log. Students may opt to what method of participation they prefer.
Students can expect approximately one hour homework per week. Each week the student will be given an assignment related to the topic being studied. Some of the assignments may require doing a little research, watching a video or downloading an app.
This class counts as 1/2 high school credit of Personal Development or Elective.
Registration deadline is December 15, 2021.
There must be a minimum of 5 students to run this class.
