This course, in its entirety, will follow the dramatic history of the world’s early civilizations from the first farmers of the Middle East to the rise of the mighty empires in Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome. We will explore the timeline, history and people of the time allowing students to create a vivid picture of life in the ancient world.
Parents have the option of taking one semester or two semesters or enroll in the entire year.
- Fall – Ancient World: Egypt
- Winter – Ancient World: Greece
- Spring – Ancient World: Rome
- Full Year of Ancient World – Early Civilizations, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome
This class is a combination of lecture, video clips as well as discussion.
Each semester has a hands-on project!
NOTE: This class must reach the minimum of five students by December 15, 2023 to run. If we do not reach this minimum, parents will be notified by email.
