Art Appreciation: Cultural Influences in Drawing, Painting and Visual Arts – Thursday – Fall 2022 & Winter 2023 – 20 Weeks – Grades 7 – 12

As we learn how culture, historical events and aesthetic elements impact art, we implement these creative influences into our own art projects. We will be using diverse art mediums to recreate various natures of art.  We will focus on cultural influence and evolutionary changes in art as they affect painting, sketching, sculpture and architecture.

Students in grades 9 – 12 can earn 1 credit in art or elective.

NOTE: Registration deadline is August 15, 2022.

NOTE: There must be a minimum of 5 students to run this class.
