Ms. Sarah is one awesome teacher! She is super flexible with due dates, and is really engaging with her class!
My daughter took Astronomy with Mrs. Pope. She learned so much and enjoyed the end of year project.
My son loves the Forensics class taught by Ms. Sarah. He is fully engaged in the class and has learning so much from it. He enjoys the hands on activities and “solving” the mysteries/crimes. It is great to see him get excited about a class. Ms. Sarah is truly a great teacher. She is super easy to talk to and loves receiving questions. She has an energy that is just wonderful for this age!
This was the first interactive online class our daughter took with Mrs. Pope and she wound up hooked! She was ready for class early every week and was even upset when a “vacation day” happened because she so wanted to be in class.
The most memorable piece was how this class was able to be taught anywhere. On dissection day, our family had an emergency and one of my friends offered to allow my daughter to bring all of her dissection materials to her home so the class wouldn’t be missed. Her three sons heard about what was being dissected and observed the class and started asking questions themselves. It’s amazing how one’s love of a class can become contagious! Thank you, OTA, for making classes be taught anywhere!
After taking the Dig Deep Marine Biology course, my daughter wanted to take more ocean related classes.. She was so thrilled to find out she could take Big Blue with Mrs. Pope. Mrs. Pope continued to do a wonderful job providing hands on projects that expanded her knowledge and love more marine biology life. If you have a child who is interested in how the ocean works or wants to get into a marine field, this class is great to take!
