Geography is an interdisciplinary subject!   During this twenty-week course, students will travel the globe studying both the geographical elements of each continent as well as the culture and the people who live there.  Students will be responsible for learning the countries, major mountain ranges and bodies of water.    As geography and history are impossible to separate, we will also learn some history of the land!    We have a lot to cover!  Do you want to join us on our journey around the world?   Come along – it will be fun!

Class will be made up of lectures, multi-media, discussions and open-ended questions.

Homework will be made up of independent reading, map building, map quizzes, open book tests and a final and a mid-term.

NOTE: Registration deadline is September 10, 2020.

There must be a minimum of 5 students to run this class.

You mentioned in our phone conversation at the start of the school year that Jonathan’s (Meola) method of teaching was different from the traditional way and let me say, IT WORKS!

“D” has succeeded in High School Geography!

Thank you for your grace and understanding, Jonathan. You provide the students organization but love how you remind them the importance of integrity through your methods.
Many thanks Jonathan!
