This was a fun and interesting course for my daughter. Ms. Getson is a kind and sweet teacher with a homeschooling background which served our family well. Lots of hands-on assignments instead of boring book work. I would highly recommend this course!
Mrs. Geston is an excellent teacher. She gives clear and excellent lectures and fun projects. She is very kind and was understanding of the accommodations we had to make for the class due to our daughter’s special needs. We both learned a lot!
My 10th grade son announced today that Mrs. Getson’s OTA Biology class has been his favorite class of the school year. Mrs. Getson starts class on time and is always prepared with an engaging PowerPoint presentation; we both sense her commitment to ensuring that the students understand the topics covered. He and I also appreciate Mrs. Getson’s clear expectations regarding homework. Homework assignments include a great mix of textbook reading, vocabulary work, and hands-on activities. My son’s favorite homework assignment this year was creating a detailed, 3D model of a caffeine molecule! We highly recommend this instructor!
This Biology class was above and beyond what I expected. S has learned so much.
