Children possess both an innate curiosity about how animals live and a desire to help preserve the nature world.
Together, we will explore the habitats of animals on land, in the air, and below the sea.
Animals in the wild face challenges when they must share their habitat with humans.
Students will use the engineering design process and LEGO bricks to create their own unique solutions to address these challenges.
Students will EXPLORE new ideas together; CREATE original solutions with LEGO bricks; and SHARE projects with classmates.
Students will be introduced to real-world STEM concepts and gain an understanding of the engineering design process.
Students will employ the engineering design process while creating original LEGO builds, designed to solve a problem that results from human and animal interaction.

So much more then legos
This class has really helped my daughter think outside of the box. In addition to building cities and learning about important social and environmental aspects of the community, the children are given the opportunity to explore different medias to express in their creative process. Mrs. Brittany is truly amazing and really knows how to get the best out of each student.
My 10 year old LOVED this class!
My son had the best time in this class & learned so much. It was such a positive experience I signed him up for other classes with this instructor.
A Wonderful Experience
My daughter is currently taking the LEGO Design Series – Build Your City and it has been a wonderful experience for her. Ms. Brittany has encouraged her so much and she’s come out of her shell and is actually participating in class. She tells me each day how excited she is for class again. She’s constantly brainstorming for her weekly assignments. I’m thrilled watching my daughter grow from such a fun and unique class.
