Unplugging to Recharge Mindfulness for Kids

Knowing how to deal with our emotions is a skill we can all benefit from. In this day and age, our lives are filled with circumstances beyond our control. For  happier kids, we can teach them coping strategies and ways to relax.  Unplugging to recharge; mindfulness for kids is an introductory course designed to teach children skills they’ll use for a lifetime. From controlling our breath, to disconnecting from anger, we will cover various methods of meditation, expression, healthy habits and more.

This is an online course with weekly modules filled with resources.

Students will keep a journal and are encouraged to take time for themselves to process their emotions, and release from their daily stress.

After the completion of this course students will have the skills to manage their stress, practice healthy choices to improve emotional regulations, decrease worry, and enhance their mood and decision making.

Students can expect 1 – 2 hours of at home assignments which range from reading an article, taking an online quiz, or answering questions about that week’s topic.


Registration deadline is  March 1, 2022.

There must be a minimum of 5 students to run this class.
