Unplugging to Recharge - Mindfulness for Teens

In the modern day, our lives are intertwined with online platforms, unrealistic expectations, and a mountain of bitter comments and text messages. Learn to let go. Release yourself from the stress and be in the moment, happier and healthier. Unplugging to recharge; mindfulness for teens is an introductory course designed to teach teens strategies to manage stress, connect with their mind, body and spirit and learn relaxation practices. In this class, we will cover breathing techniques, various methods of meditation, journaling, yoga, feng shui, and more.

This is an online course with weekly modules filled with resources. Students will keep a journal and are encouraged to take time for themselves to process their emotions, and release from their daily stress.

After the completion of this course students will have the skills to manage their stress, practice healthy choices to improve emotional regulations, decrease worry, and enhance their mood and decision making.

Students can expect 1 – 2 hours of at home assignments which range from reading an article, taking an online quiz, or answering questions about that week’s topic.


Registration deadline is  March 1, 2022.

There must be a minimum of 5 students to run this class.
