Emmelin is 7 years old and lives in Washington state.
She loves to dance and takes classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. She is also thrilled to be on the competitive dance team for the second year in a row.
In her free time, Emmelin enjoys playing with Legos, robots, Playmobil, and her Nintendo Switch. She also loves writing stories, drawing, and reading (especially graphic novels).
Emmelin loves animals, especially her dog, Murphy. She hopes to become a veterinarian someday, as well as a professional jazz dancer on the side.
What Eva Goldstein-Meola has to say about Emmelin:
“There are not enough positive words to say about the energy and contributions that Emmelin makes to our class, Exploring American History through the American Girls. Not only is she on task, answers and participates actively but she has gone above and beyond in all aspects of the class. Not a class goes by where she doesn’t contribute something to the history, culture or about the girl’s time period we are studying. Her “Living Wax Museum” project on Amelia Earhart was above and beyond my expectations. I am so glad that she is a part of our class.”
