Genevieve is eleven years old and lives in Virginia. This fall, Genevieve competed with her team in the U.S. Academic Bowl and the National History Bowl. Genevieve is a youth lector at church, and volunteers as a reader for a weekly online children’s program.
A Girl Scout since kindergarten, Genevieve earned the Bronze award last year. Genevieve has loved softball since the first time she picked up a bat at five years old. Her All-Stars softball team won their district championship and had a blast playing in the state championship. Genevieve looks forward to swim team every summer and enjoyed every moment of her first field hockey and lacrosse seasons.
Genevieve makes the most of wherever she is – at the beach, she boogie boards; on rainy days, she crochets and plays board games; and when the sun is out, she bikes, plays tennis, and explores the woods. At home, she enjoys singing, whipping up confections, and creating Lego worlds. She currently meets up with friends in many online clubs: art, dance, drama, book clubs, coding, and CrossFit workouts.
Genevieve is famous for her voracious appetite for books, her creative writing, and her kindness and sense of humor. Genevieve dreams of having a dog, of visiting Paris, and of starting a bookshop cafe someday.
